El Verde de Corral de Bustos superó en la tarde de hoy en Camilo Aldao por 2-0 a Sportivo de Isla Verde en los 27 minutos que debían jugarse para completar el partido suspendido el pasado domingo. Con un gol en cada tiempo el verde superó por 2-0 a Sportivo, sumado al otro resultado, el partido terminó 4-2 y 6-3 en el global.
De esta manera, Newbery y Corralense jugarán la final del Torneo Apertura 2014 de la Liga Regional Fútbol del Sur, se recuerda que como el próximo domingo es la final del Torneo Mundial de la FIFA, no habrá programación en esta liga, por lo cual, la primer final se jugará el 20 de julio.
